About our chef
Chef Victor is an Argentinian native of Neuquen, a beautiful town on northern Patagonia. Spent his childhood helping out in his father’s steakhouse has allowed Victor to absorb the concepts of Argentinian Asado by blood. Shaped his teenage years in the kitchen and had absolutely loved helping his Grandma creating Empanadas, he felt contentment in cooking.
Graduated from culinary school in Buenos Aires, with extensive experiences in and have worked alongside Dani Garcia, a three-michelin starred chef, his career ladder escalated and became an Executive Chef at La Veranda Restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton Marbella, Spain at the age of 28.
In 2008, he moved to Bali, Indonesia as an Executive Chef for a five-star resort, before joining in opening team of Cloud Lounge & Dining, Jakarta at 2013. In 2019, Sudestada Jakarta is set to open under the helms of this well-seasoned chef, offering honest Latin menu with an Argentinian flair, as he shares his profound love for his country and its remarkable cuisine to a wider audience who are constantly hungry for food and authentic experiences, Jakarta and beyond.
